My Medication Guide

Patients & Families
See how this guide works
  1. Search any medicine by its name — the everyday brand name works too (try Tylenol). Or browse with the category chips, then tap a medicine to open it.
  2. Each medicine card explains, in plain language, what it is for, how it is usually taken, what to watch for, and what to do if you miss a dose or get sick.
  3. My medicine list: add everything you take and it flags combinations worth asking about. A flag is a prompt for your pharmacist — and no flag does not mean a combination is safe.
  4. Thinking of an over-the-counter remedy? The OTC helper asks a few questions first and points out safer picks for your situation.
  5. Brand-name index: find a medicine from the name on its box.
This guide never includes your dose — always follow your own prescription label, and check with your pharmacist or prescriber before changing anything.

My medicine list

Add everything you take — prescriptions, patches, and regular over-the-counter medicines. The guide will flag important interactions to raise with your pharmacist or prescriber, and show the best timing for each one. Your list is saved on this device only, and you can update it any time.

Find an over-the-counter alternative

Sometimes the usual over-the-counter (OTC) medicine or supplement isn't the right one — because of another medicine you take, an allergy, a pregnancy, a child's or older adult's age, or a health condition. This tool suggests other OTC options for the same purpose and points out any to avoid, and it can check the one you picked against your situation. It covers common OTC medicines (pain and fever, allergy, heartburn, cough and cold, stomach and gas, constipation, sleep) and common vitamins and supplements.

How to use this: 1. Pick the medicine you want to replace. 2. Tell us why. 3. Tap Show OTC options — then take the results to your pharmacist.
1 Which medicine or supplement are you asking about?
2 Why do you need a different one? (tick any that apply)
